Mobirise Mobirise v4.6.6
Welcome to the All-State/All American Lt. Jerry Novakovich, Post 1525, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Department of California.  Our Post is located at 2290 Willow Pass Rd, Concord, CA.

Post 1525 was established in the City of Clayton in 1986 and was known as Clayton Valley Post 1525.  We have been part of the communities of Clayton, Concord, and eastern Walnut Creek.  In 2012, the Posts in Pinole, Rodeo, and Crockett, merged into Post 1525.

The Post became an integral part of the Community.  It constructed the Veterans Memorial Flagpole Monument at the top of Main Street.  This became the starting point for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veteran Day events. Our Honor Guard has led off the 4th of July Parade ever since.

Our Post name was later renamed Lt. Jerry Novakovich, Post 1525, in honor of Clayton resident who was killed leading a patrol in Vietnam, during the Tet Offensive in 1968.
